Waist Trainers

What you need to know...

Everyone dreams of owning an hourglass curve. Do you know that corsets can help you achieve that perfect figure?? The method is called 'waist-training', in which corsets are worn to permanently alter the body shape of the wearer. By wearing corset diligently every day, the wearer gradually reduces waist line as the torso muscles develop around a tiny waist. For starters, here is a basic guide on waist training; 1. On your first day, adjust the corset just to be fitting or snug, and wear it for 2-4 hours. Your body needs to be accustomed to 'corset posture'. 2. For the rest of the first 2 weeks, gradually increase the duration by 1-2 hours per day, until you can comfortably wear a corset for a full day (12-18 hours, removing to exercise/shower/sleep). 3. Afterwards, you can attempt to tighten the corset by 1/2 inch (no more than 1 inch to avoid injury or fatigue). Once adjusted, wear the corset as per usual. 4. Once you're body adapted to the new tightness (roughly 1 month later), you can tigthen the corset more. Note that as you incress the tightness, your body will need longer time to adapt. Be patient! Things to note: - Always listen to your body - Do not over tighten if your body is not used to wearing a corset - If you feel unwell while wearing a corset, do not take it off immediately. Instead, loosen it out and wait a while first before removing. - Do not force bend your corset. Adhere your posture to the way the corset straightens your body. Force bending against the bones can result in damage to the corset and minor injury such as sprains and bruising to your body. The corsets in this collection are suitable for waist training; soft boning for beginners, spiral steel boning for advanced waist trainers, and Fajas for exercise use. (The latex waist trainers, aka "Fajas", are meant to be used during exercise. For best results, use a Faja during exercise, and put on a corset immediately after showering, while your muscles are still warm.)
